Desert of Life

I am walking through a desert, Driest desert of my life. Thirsty, lonely and tired Hoping to meet a saver. I’ve been walking for hours Looking around for food, Praying to God for a rain, Trying to scare away Hunter-Birds. Hopeless, thirsty, lonely and tired It seemed to be a mirage on my way I saw an island- The land of my dreams. Precious birds singing songs, Flying above coldest falls, Whispering leaves on the trees Just unbelievable it seems!!! But my eye was caught By a lonely Palm-tree That was carried away By the mean desert wind. He looked very upset, But He found his way, Going up to the blue sky Reaching the rear white clouds. Yet He was all alone, Going deep to the ground With His mighty roots, Although He was a stranger to the croud. He was making his way Without dropping a tear, In a place he calls home now, But he made it! And that was clear When He saw me hardly walking, He remembered his past He reached out his hands to me And hid me from the burning Sun. He took care of the wounds That were deep in my heart I can call him my life saver He is my Notre damme
