Description of the Day

7/18/17

Climbing to the top
Pulled up to a new spot

Hands holding steady
And ready

To put in work
Across from hills that got burnt

Boots, jeans, a camo hat and long sleeve shirt
Kept sliding and nearly falling, which made me smirk
Even when I actually fell into the dirt
Was building up a sweat and extreme thirst
Just trying to go berserk
And earn respect, instead of being a jerk

I knew I wouldn't necessarily be the best or the worst
This won't be the last time, and it won't be the first
I'm just thankful to be here on this Earth

Truthfully
Thank you for the opportunity
