Depression
Ignored in life, a rife wistful eyesight,
Put down against peers every day in sight,
Dreams of love from loved ones seem very slight,
Paranoia drives the life to a plight.
Withdrawn in acute grim thoughts, lost in own unreal world,
melancholy imaginations seem real in shroud,
No one loves, no one cares, depression sets in as a wound,
Why live, the question lingers, gloomy feelings crush the mind.
Remember friend in this struggle profound,
You are not alone, your voice will resound,
Reach out, let your fears and sorrows be known,
Healing begins when you are not alone.
Heal depression, not through pills, but with love so fair,
Beloved ones restore self-worth, banishing despair,
Neglected souls rejuvenate, in hope's tender air,
Hardships abound, peace shall reign, love's answer to prayer.
