Depression

I sit here fearing to sleep
For I know I will only weep
Dreams will surly fill my head
My body will be filled with dread
Ghost come to haunt
My nerves will grow taunt
Lost in a river of fear
The end of life grows near
I struggle I fight
Just to reach that light
To grasp for air
Such is my fare
Sinking deeper I cast about
Trying to keep in my head
I'm not yet dead
My body starts to quiver
Am I lost to this river
All around I feel despair
I can't get no air
The river of depression
Doesn't give an easy session
You have to fight
to live in the light
 May not right
But I'm in so deep
I think it's for keep
I keep on crying
But I keep on trying
To fight my way out
To give my victory shout
Made it through another night
Back safely in the light
