Depression

A weight on my chest, a constant ache
A darkness that follows, no escape
A feeling of emptiness, a void within
A hopelessness, a never-ending spin
A loss of interest, in things I loved
A disconnect, from the world above

A battle within, fought every day
A constant effort, to find a way
To push through the fog, to break the chains
But it seems impossible, the constant pains
I am trapped, in this endless despair
My depression, a burden I cannot bear.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 NIV Great flowing poem
