Deny
I really can't believe we've
made it this far,
What lead to a kiss had started
from a park,
I didn't think this could happen
again,
But I fell for you and that's
when it begin,
Your eyes look different and
your demeanor has changed,
I tried to ignore it but things
haven't been the same,
And just when I had enough
and I try to leave,
You show your soft side and
sweep me off my feet.
Danger my conscience is telling
me to walk away,
But you're so hard to deny,
I really think that I am losing it,
I can't leave no matter how
hard I try,
I'm lost and empty and broken,
But you're so hard to deny,
I think this pain has taken its
token,
But you're so hard to deny.
Screaming back and forth is
just more stress,
Every day we're talking less
and less,
You tend to break me down
spiritually,
Emotionally? There's no hope
for me,
And just when the arguing have
stopped,
And I tend to give my heart
some thought,
I make up my mind to grab the
door,
But I open it and fly right into
your arms.
Danger, my conscience is
telling me to walk way,
But you're so hard to deny,
I really think that I am losing it,
I can't leave no matter how
hard I try,
I'm lost and empty and broken,
But you're so hard to deny,
I think this pain has taken its
token,
But you're so hard to deny !
