Notes About The Poem

Denim

Denim faded
from time’s winding down leaving
rust in the seams as gears
grind against the folds and tucks

where memories
were safely stored for decades
rewound and replayed like
clips from a movie of life.

captivating...nicely said about the 'texture' of memories tucked away in denim. Best wishes with this contest entry
