Denial
To think we are flawless,
we might as well be made
of straw. Burnt back to
nothing, our own denial
leading to a black ash of
self destruction.
In truth
the world is truly flawed.
We humans are gnawed all
over, we all have faults. That
living water can never fill us
up, welling over to true glory.
Some fault-lines open deep like
canyons to our souls. Yet turn to
God's spirit, he wants you reaching
new goals. God wants you in his
favour, confess your sins and need
of Jesus as your saviour.
