Demons Run
Her eyes tell a story but nobody hears
So she just lives it all behind her anguished tears
She just can’t seem to fight off all of this pain
Of those demons that are still picking her brain
The life she’s been living, well nobody sees
And it’s gone beyond sickness, it’s now a disease
No one wants to be bothered, it’s just not their place
So they just walk away and never look at her face
She only wants freedom, but it seems nobody cares
So she sits all alone in the corner and just stares
She’s looking for hope, help or just a friend
But those that she knows just can’t comprehend
She’s now in a ward in some shady place somewhere
But nobody visits her, it’s like nobody cares
Her mind is far from better, but it’s closer to death
Which seems a blessing to her as she breaths her last breathe
Soon she’s forgotten by those who shunned her in life
They’re into who’s dating whom and who what’s his names wife
