Demons

Never stop to really listen.
You won't like what you hear
When those demons settle in
Your life is filled with fear.
You stretch and crawl -
Drag your bones,
They pick and poke
What you thought was your own.
The damage severe
You've already paid
It's now in your head
Foundations layed.
Happiness comes -
It's not quite the same.
You let them in
And you're to blame.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
