Democracy or democrazy
Africa has a long way to democracy
Is clear we still live in fear
If freedom exist
Then I don't know what it means
In Africa
Cos we still long for one
Africa has a long way to democracy
If democracy means brutality
Like it is here in Africa
Then why will success be real
Among us
We live in terror almost all day
All time We fear
the unknown each new day
We fear our own government
And yet they say
We are not discipline
As We worry how to survive
Each day break
We protest we struggle we lament
Yet we are shut down
Is this democracy or democrazy
Africa has a long way to democracy
Life is far here
With the way things are
Like they say we grow
Nigeria the highest economy
In Africa they claim
Yet many
Live with less than a dollar
Per day
Is this democracy or democrazy
Africa has a long way to democracy
Our sea scars away fish's
Greed of men on Oil
pollute the river's
And the land
We can't fish in some areas
Nither can we plant on somany
Lands
In Africa
We never benefit from
Our resources
Is like a blessing is turn
To a curse
As doe we have a government
As doe things look like is better
With out a government
If thing are like it is
What is the use of democracy
Of this kind?
Or rather is it democrazy
Africa have a long way to democracy
Like I was thought that
Democracy is a government
By his people and for the people
But things are the opposite
Like it is
All we have are government by his
Kaban and for his kaban
Here I wonder
