Deliver Me From Living In the North
Deliver Me From Living in the North
By Elton Camp
To the Northeast, my sympathies extend
Here in Alabama I’ll be 70 this weekend
To you, Sandy came and stayed a spell
Now you have a snowstorm as well
The electricity you got knocked out
Now you are having another bout
Your hear “youse guys” and rudeness
Move down South for less crudeness
Your cost of living is always high
Living in the South you outta try
Wear bib overall and have bare feet
Say “y’all” to those that you meet
Yep, tornadoes and hail you may endure
But you’re better off living here for sure
