DEJA VU
DEJA VU
Here, inside your room
Sits a ghostly deja vu
What moves there
By the window
Drapes, the afternoon
What remains, sits quiet
As roses slowly fade
Their way above a cabinet
Forgot and locked away
On the glass grow cataracts
Of fingerprints and dust
What can be seen
Inside that dream
My hands will never touch
Here, inside Your room
A truth I thought I knew
Locked away
Where breezes play
Drapes, the afternoon
