Degeneration

On a lonely summer’s night
Thinking ‘bout the wrongs and rights
Not much words are left to say
Disappeared and gone away

Mind is mad as heart is broke
Emptiness that makes you choke
Close the eyes and take a breath
Leave your tired body rest

Forgetting all the cheerful songs
All the laughs we went along
All the rage which burned the hopes
All the tears inside your soul

Wake up with a freshened mind
Much to learn not much to find
Live your life like every day
Except the shallow nothing stays
