Deformity of Love

To the one I thought I loved... I stand here alone once again Bleeding crimson tears The joy has turned to sadness My heart cries out in distress Walking a path of Loneliness and pain Feeling things Never felt before A thousand goodbye's Pounding in my head Emotional scars left open They bleed with the odor of The broken hearted The light has turned to darkness And I am blinded by remorse Drained of all bliss What was never seen Is now revealed The only living memories Are now consumed by hatred The guilt has turned to repulsion My soul cries out For the love that could be The hatred has turned to abandonment I surrender to my heart... Deliver me from this deformity of love
