Deflated
You once brought me hope and sunny days,
now I sit in shock and dazed.
How could you turn your back on me?
I did nothing wrong that I can see.
I sat in shock and disbelief,
what once was hope has turned to grief.
Despite the truth...you turn your back,
you say some proof is what you lack.
The proof is right before your eyes,
but you'd rather choose to back up lies.
With head held low, I walk away...
there seems to be nothing more to say.
