Definition of a Thing: I

(For Chnweizu et al)

1
can you truly define a thing
can you truly convey a thing
everything is a poem
every poem is a thing:
o, poesy is being!

2
is easy to define a poem
so hard to convey a poem
everything is a thing
and a thing is a poem:
o, poesy is being!

3
how oft the critics criticise a poem
can they convey the thinghood of a poem
tho’ background purpose origin shown
to be experienced stays a poem:
o, poesy is being!

4
the critic lays some steps to a poem
ladder forgotten by the grip on a poem
a poem is an organism
an organism is a poem:
o, poesy is being!

Where are YOU, You are among my favorite writers, I was wondering if you were interested in the challenge of my new contest? To try to write in a FORM you don’t normally use and to see if you can TRICK me ;) [most of your writing I can tell it’s YOU straight off! ;)] I would like to run a contest where the BEST and Brightest are highlighted, but it’s only fair you challenge yourselves. Please do let us see a new write from YOU in a new form! Light & Love Always Debbie
