Deepest Depression

All I do is either sleep or I cry
And at times I cry in my sleep
I'm no stranger to depression
But I've never been in so deep

I acquired this constant pressure
As if depression is squeezing my heart
I'm not sure if I'll survive this divorce
It's torn my life and my heart apart

My body and emotions are almost numb
The only thing I can feel is this damn pain
I wake up and I'm already exhausted
This depression is nothing but a bane

It's stolen my hopes and future dreams
And it's is holding me against my will
Something has to alter my direction
My life is next on its list to steal
