Deeper

Faces beyond reflection
Somewhere lost inside
I was, I am and I will be
But I am forever mine

Always beyond redemption
A secret no-one tells
I would if I could deny this
But it’s never what I’ve felt

So low, but so ascended
I’m looking through my eyes
I see my wounds reflected
And so I whisper mine

Nothing but my conception
I’m turning upside down
My climb is going nowhere
At least there’s no more sound

Deeper, the world has ended
Pending one more cry
Silence as I’ve descended
Into an end that’s mine
