Deep Woods
In the DEEP woods, where shadows CREEP and play,
The winds WEEP, secrets SPEAK and sway,
As branches CRACK, the night FALLS back.
The MOON glows with a silver TUNE so bright,
Each star SPARKS, a mark in the DARK of night,
While wolves HOWL under the GLOWING prowl.
By the STREAM, where the waters GLEAM and run,
The RIPPLE of a stone is quickly NIPPLED and done,
As nature SINGS with the WIND'S soft wings.
