Deep With In

Deep With In
By Susan Lynn Covington
Date August 2007

Deep with in hides her so many cries
Deep with in all her hope dies
Is there strength left to fight to Wright
Or has it gone in with deep despite
How can one start to tell?
How deep with in she had just fell
Deep with in a child sits in a corner and bows her head
With deep wishes with in her she has all ready said
Yet still young deep with in
Life takes its time to help her again
Deep with in she keeps her gift and don’t let go
And runs from the shadow that hunts her from below
Pain digs in deep with everything she knows
That can’t be told only whispered slow
Deep with in
