Deep Down Inside
Sometimes
You might say things
That you think are funny
Like “Screw you”
Or “Go to hell”
Or “kiss up”
But you don’t realize they hurt me
Deep down inside
You think its funny
But it’s not
Because you don’t know
That there is a lot
Going on in my life
That you don’t see on the surface
That kill me inside
And your words
Only hurt me more
