Deep Down

You are a great girl
I wish you knew of how I feel

I fear to tell you what you don't know
I am scared I will repeat my feelings like a crow

They are entrapped inside
And that's where they will reside

Never let them out
Inside they will scream and shout

But on the out
I can laugh and joke about

So different is my character on the in
I wish I were perfect and free of every sin

I want to be the best for you
All this I want to say is long due

But deep down it will all confide
And all this I want to say I will hide

Never will there be a day
When I can speak of this or say

This can all come true
And that I love you
