Deep Dark Blue
Another dark dark night, the moon but a sliver
Just like the hope I carry, a broken arrow in an empty quiver
I know time will never end, I throw another one back
To dull the pain, my world insane, Its all been painted black
Where had all the good times gone, were there any, I can't remember
Erased as if never there, a fire without its ember
Look the sun is on the rise, I've made it through another night
Donning my shades, so daylight fades, running from the light
People with their smiling faces, chase me back into the dark
To the uncomfort of my nothing world, where time has left its infected mark
A wound that never heals, Pain that never goes away
Reaching deep within my soul, shredding it to a fray
I know the sky is blue, I saw it once before
But darkness consumed my everything, I can't take it any more
Give me liberty or give me death, I can't live and not be free
Even my dreams are chained and bound, depression has consumed all of me
Constant buzz in my ears like Satan's hideous laughter, enjoying all my pain, my tears, a taste of what will come after
Ending it all will only bring more of the same, each day a new beginning, an everlasting game
No winners, just losers, pawns and slaves, played like puppets,
Then buried in graves..
