Deeds Outlive

One good turn deserves another.
The good you do shall live forever.
No matter how small it will appear.
For those in need it’s always dear.
Their need is what compels a deed.
The deed you do will fill your need.
It’s like you save for a rainy day.
Sowers reap, so wise men say.
The good we sow will multiply.
It will go on after we die.

That's a great one! I'm currently working on my maturity-work for school. Your poem is one I will analyze, so I wanted to ask you wether this version of the poem is the original one, or if it had already been penned in another language, before you wrote it down in english?

Sorry for my very late reply. Yeah, this is an original poem written in English, and it was not translated from any other language into English because I am an English teacher. Thank you for your interaction with the poem.
