Dedication To a Lost Childhood Friend
I lost you once, had to let you go
But
Now its time to let you know
You were a special friend,
That never let me down
Taught me how to stand my ground
Always kept their judgement away
I'll never forget it, to this very day
That chill I get every now and again,
I know is you standing by my side
So now, I know when i feel fear, not to run and hide
For you are a guardian angel who's been there throughout my life
I was heartbroken god had to take you away
though,
You're spirit is here to stay
You were a bright light that still has never dimmed
You being gone is truly a sin
No matter how young you were, You have left your mark behind
AND
You need to know, You will always be a friend of mine
