Dedicated To a New Future
Every year is a new chance,
To do better with our lives,
But my life is still empty,
Without you here by my side.
I keep hoping that this year,
Will be different from the past,
And you won't be any where close,
To all the rest.
A part of me wants to believe,
That our lives will be,
As one as a couple should,
However, only time and God will see.
Take these words and cherish them,
Cause I want you to be,
The one who really touches my heart,
And proves that what I am feeling,
Is not just a tease.
You can be my wife,
In the years to come,
If you want to show my heart,
That these feelings are very true,
And are not dumb.
