Declaration of Love

It all started off as a game my love to you and yours the same but something inside of us grew we were fine cause it wasn't new It crept like a rat in the dark from room to room, a lovely sound like a harp through tears and pleas we begged to be free Even when we got our wishes we found out we were wrong, everything turned to kisses no matter how hard we fought we knew our love was true, no matter what we sought A war that is and was not ours to fight could end up in us making love all night you may push and I may pull but when it come down neither one of us can be a fool We both have stories to tell how either one of us could fail its not likely that we'll perish or even end up in marriage But one thing we both know to be true my greatest gift is my love to you with my mind I'll show and from my heart you'll know With all of that i want to say forever is my love starting today from years and years our last thought won't be in tears
