Decided To Leave Me

I’d be a fool to say I don’t miss You,
After all this time I foolishly
Thought there something I could do.
Maybe it would help me understand,
A way to have a chance to start
All over again.
To make things the way they used to be ,
To bring back those times that are now just memories.
Tender memories that you shared with me,
But those days are gone and again will never be.
After all these years I came to realize it wasn’t really about me.
It was you who wanted the change and it was you
Who decided to leave me.
