December Ninettenth
December nineteenth one more day closer to Christmas
December nineteenth Christmas feels so long from now
Christmas come quickly the children are trying
it's hard to be good wanting Christmas right now
The lights are hung and bright at night
December snow is a beautiful sight
Presents are wrapped and under the Christmas tree
Hold the mistletoe don't tempt being naughty
The Christmas feast waiting only to prepare
baking cookies and pies smells of holiday cheer
Soon family will arrive the house comes alive
December the nineteenth Christmas so far yet so near
Christmas tunes in the air, carols from the heart
the merriment of reds and greens means the season starts
Candy cane kisses and long lists of kids wishes
Christmas please hurry we'll burst our britches
December nineteenth anticipating Christmas joy and laughter
Christmas please hurry along
we are being good and staying strong
For a sigh of relief December 26th when it's the day after
