Eleven Months without Barbara – my wife and soul mate
By Franklin Price
12/18/2022

It is December eighteenth
The year is twenty twenty-two
It has been eleven months
That I'm alone here without you

It is the Christmas Season
The first in three and fifty years
That you are not beside me
To celebrate the Christmas cheer

To think of Jesus in the manger
Up above the shining star
The shepherds and the wise men
Who have traveled from afar

The angels singing overhead
To announce the guiding light
Birthed by the virgin Mary
Christ was born on Christmas night

He came to save us from our sins
He was God as man on earth
He's why there is a Christmas
That's why we celebrate His birth

You are with Him now in heaven
Yet you and He are part of me
When he calls me home I'll be with you
Throughout all eternity
