12/13/15 poem

This monster that
I have become
Has pushed away
E-ver-y-one

This monster that
I keep inside
I have to hide
Cannot confide

Anger consumes
The fire blooms
Should it go out
Without a doubt

It will be back
I have a knack
For getting mad
It is so sad

Some people say
They cannot see
The other side
Inside of me

I keep her hid
So very well
Sometimes it gets
So hard to tell

Where she ends
And where I start
Does she even
Have a heart?
