Deceived, Denied and Lost
Deceived, denied and all too lost
Believed that there’s such thing as trust
But I lied, I told myself to love
Inside, I died and I gave up
I see exactly what I am
Lies, pain, I am just the damned
To change would mean that I deny
Today means one more stupid try
I hear the darkness whisper hate
I stare and hope that I can wait
So near, but I know it’s just too late
If I die, I’d only be facing my fate
I hide, afraid of what I’ll see
I try, but life is inside me
I know the things that pull me away
You are just begging me not to stay
I live when I’m away from lies
With you I can only hear the cries
That broken, little child of pain
You can’t see and all my tries are in vain
I am so tired of this game
You seek importance and a name
Your fear has lead you to deny
Inside, you really think you’re alive
Well how about I never see you again
I’d feel some reverence within
No lies, I’d never have to give in
No cries and no more of this sin
Then again, I am the reflection of everything
Time to start over and begin
