Decadence

You've never destroyed me I have constantly enjoyed you off and on for many years through Joy and tears through bravity and fear Decadence, Beautiful dark angel On the edge of a strangle Yet I marvel I'm back I'm not so dead after all A morbid caress, to you I call Decadence, Who could not love you? In your finest hour blooming and growing like a wildflower I am obsessed by your power You have had on me many years Decadence Do not slow down As I grow older Excess is better Than all moderation provides I'd rather live than slowly die
