Debt Paid

A debt I owed;
I could not pay,
was nailed to a cross,
on that gloomy day.

Such shame and
torture he had to
endure, because of
love for me and you.

Now when I'm down,
and all alone,my mind
wonders back to where
they ripped the flesh
from off His bones.

The love that my
dear Savior shared,
nothing I go through
on this earth could
ever be compared.

You are so right, there is nothing that can compare to that love that He shared. Marvelous sentiment in this and so well expressed. Michael
