Death's Loss

Some say life ends with death
But I know this isn't true
There's a place we go eternally
Where life begins anew

Oh grave where is thy victory
And death where is thy sting
These words were spoken long ago
By the one we call our king

Paul said I die daily
He was referring to his sin
To prepare himself to hear God say
Welcome home and enter in

Death is just a gateway
That leads us to our home
Where we'll live forevermore
With Him who's on the throne

So when you think of dying
Don't let your heart despair
For when we leave this world behind
God's waiting for us there
