Deaths Bell
For whom now hath the death bell tolled?
The answer, for thee, a soul weary and old.
Did thou know times line was ever thinning?
I regret to inform, this battle, thee isnt winning.
Wipe away the despondant frown dear old man.
Time's up and thee knows it now as thee did then.
Turn about thy eyes and look upon this hollow shell
Of the person, of thou body, that thee knew so well.
Thou say thee still had too many loose ends,
Family to bid adieu, severences to make amends.
For now, dear sir, deaths bell hath tolled.
For now, dear sir, deaths bell hath tolled.
Think of it as a new beginning.
Think of it as a new beginning.
Thy soul, thy mind, they now fly free.
Connected to each other, much like the earth and sea.
Thou does not need thy flesh upon the white bed
Already lost to bacteria being readily fed.
Thou should be exuberant, why so bleak?
Thou is no longer sickly, decreppid, and weak.
Thou claims life was not supposed to be over just yet,
Even though thou now stares at thy body thee left...
For now, dear sir, deaths bell hath tolled.
For now, dear sir, deaths bell hath tolled.
Thou is no longer a man.
Thou is no longer a man.
Thou is a spirit, a ghost, a voiceless whisp of wind.
Judgement times comes now, will thou soar or descend?
All thy faults, are on the scales, now stacked.
Will thy good deeds outweigh leaving thy soul intact?
Accept thy life is over - Heaven is euphoric and hell is deep.
It's pointless right now to implore mercy, it's pointless now to weep.
Judgement passed old heart, may these words but pacify.
They soul is thee's to keep, worry not and swiftly fly...
For now, dear sir, deaths bell hath tolled.
For now, dear sir, deaths bell hath tolled.
