Death Took You Away

Sounds of sweet music coming from your lips
The gentle touch of your finger tips

Your arms so lovingly around me
These are but a few things I miss from thee

Memories of you are all that is left
My life once full of hope is now bereft

Tears flow easily down my cheeks
This has been going on for weeks and weeks

My heart is so full of pain
Grief hitting me like a train

When all I wanted was for you to stay
Death came and took you away
