Death Poem

Watch me as I fly away
With no remembrance of that day
Let the wind blow and dry out my salt filled tears
Carry me away
Leaving behind all my fears
Let my sole leave my body
With all its hurtful memories
Please take me away from here
Let’s hope the death angel is near
To let the time pass by as I wait
I think of my ungrateful fate
All I really want is to be happy again
But I’ve already started to commit the sin
I see my horror coming
Dressed in black
To late now I can’t go back
So I will say goodbye to you
I just wish you knew
All the pain you put me though

Sad words, Angela. Your heartfelt writing is outstanding, but I hope you don't truly believe it is "too late." Perhaps you will find a new love who can appreciate you.
