Death On the Street Corner

The lightning, it was over-bright
and death came to the street corner.
Eyes held fright in the rainy night
the lightning, it was over-bright.
Quickly done in flash of a light
knife crossed the heart without warner
The lightning, it was over-bright
and death came to the street corner.
