Death of Freedom

as she flies over our nation
and sees the death of freedom.
Her tears fall over all
America, land
of tyranny,
no longer
of the
free.

It scares me to realize this poem true. Our freedom slowly gets taken away and most stand idly by. Great write!! A warm welcome to poetry soup!- yours truly Edward

Thank you, Edward. Yes, I guess some people may still be asleep to it all. Very tragic. Thanks again! Love, Holly
