Death In Part
A life so giving,
A love so filling,
But a heart of stone,
A wife so caring,
A child so becoming,
But I feel alone,
I feel only the bad,
Give me what I once had,
That childish ignorance,
Must I again be a lad,
Lose everything as a dad,
Succumb to more indifference,
I curse death for my ill fate,
He has made me despair and hate,
Finish what you did start,
My mind is gone but my husk is late,
Fears hinder me from taking the bait,
I don't have the heart,
Snakes are writhing within me as I go to sleep,
I breathe slowly and once more very deep,
Finally, I feel it, happiness, never again shall I weep.
