Death By Design

Trust an illusion and hope thrice blind a weary traveler lost in time pounding on a silent door thundering truths and forgotten lore dare we build a bed of stone as we lie awake alone lightening with no place in time a poem forged from death and rhyme watery grave and shallow shore mark scars still left from years before and if theyre seen my world is shaken before false gods, a life soon taken dare we lose our souls to doubt? with chilling end and needles route can we find our way back home if nothings left but ash and chrome maybe only then I'll suffer the final throws of a life less rougher here from within the dance of pride I'll find some griefs to set aside I won't play long with ghosts unknown and try not to scream as flesh meets stone a broken back to arise from this will set me free with fiery kiss and in the end my heart can't break there's nothing else to soothe this ache but if I fight just one more day will I bear witness to my own decay if life is meant as practice and play then why hold on another day
