Death

breathing stops
no heartbeat
waxy pale
blood settles nether limbs
temperature falls
limbs get stiff
now to elements
to elements

Physical death - this is a good description, but when I die I know I will be with Jesus and that is what really matters - the only thing that really matters is knowing Jesus. I enjoyed your words on my last poem and like this write. Thank you and God bless you. Love and prayers, Gina

True! You're talking about our physical body. The essential parts, our soul, and spirit don't die. As a Christian, I know that when I die, I will be with God in Heaven. My body, of course will return to the earth as dust. But that was only a tent anyway, a temporary home for my body here on earth. Anyone who accepts Jesus as their Savior will live forever. Have you, my friend? If not, I encourage you to invite Him into your heart. Blessings! :)

Darlene darling, Absolutely correct. I have used "Death" in limited sense. In fact we are deathless. We also believe our mortal body decomposes in death but our soul retains its god consciousness for ever and thus transcends death. You have made me happy. Thank you.
