DEATH

Alas! Death has arrived As I lay on ground and die It held a bouquet of periwinkle As my life stopped at its spindle It reached out my hand A face of dark as it put his demand Of my final words I said I wish to be a bird It simple smiled All that was to be denied And it stood there and said," congrats, u have finished life." all I spent was as someone's wife Who knew I existed? Who knew the dreams I dreamed of? As I finally took its hand I said, " Thank you, for coming soon as I leave this land."
