Death
Whoever you are death will come, whether you are king, or simply scum. Wherever you go, death will follow, on Earth or Mars or even Apollo. No one escapes the angel of death, your spirit he’ll claim, with your last breath.
In moments of death, your eyes will see, into other dimensions, restriction free. You will see the angels, and other creations, to those around you, hallucinations. But your tongue will fail, to reveal the truth, an eye for eye and tooth for tooth.
Life is extracted from toe to head, while family stand around your bed. To those of faith the process is fast, for all others the pain will last. All believers are welcomed and greeted, those ungrateful are badly treated.
Their bodies whipped while spirit extracted, with every lash in pain they reacted. Their breathing toughens and eyes become dim, till life has left from every limb. Life leaves the body in the form of a thread, it’s a matter of time before you are dead.
Your eyes will roll back in your head, as they witness your spirit roam up ahead. You can cry out loud or even scream, it won’t really matter it’s not a dream. Death is scary, or so they say, in the grave you remain, till judgement day. Those alive should think twice, is it hell they seek, or paradise.
