Death

Oh the gentle bell did ring
And the glorious voices of angels did sing.

Then, a silence fell.

I knew it's meaning
A soul was leaving.

Only God can ring the bell
With the sound of the glorious swell
Of the angels welcoming song,
Taking our loved one to life over death.

In our grief God provides His relief
In knowing that our loved one is at peace.

Paulette, I wrote this when my mother passed away on my birthday in 2019. I also wrote "Mothers death" within a day of her death. She was a Godly , kind and loving woman. I now miss her more as you remind me to reflect on it. Thank you!

Thank you Susan. I wrote it for my mother along with mothers death after she passed last year. She was such a gentle human being. What I miss is her positive attitude towards life and calmness of manner. Sorry it took so long to respond. The virus wrecked my business.
