Dearest Liz

I hated your faults
more than I lusted your charms
As life became hell
and a new call to arms

I hated the darkness
your beauty can’t hide
With blame the new weapon
 that kills from inside

Each movie we made
a celluloid fire
A booze filled disaster
of poisoned desire

I married you once
I married you twice
Divorced in the ruins
— your drama enticed
