Dear Sonneteer

Dear Sonneteer How do I write a good sonnet? When I don't consider myself a poet Cuz I'm not skilled in juggling words that rhymes Or think out tunes that perfectly chimes I've heard that its not hard afterall, That I just have to have the gall To thread on its fourteen lines Scheming my feelings through its pines Well, I know that my pen shall one day rain And that the river of poetry flows in my vein Then would my words would roll on Adam's tongue As a hymn on their lips like a sing-sung For I know that one day These words would pay The true work of my art Of that phrase that rhymes in my heart
