Dear moms and dads

In the darkness of the night,
while the world lies in slumber deep,
and the full moon shines bright
our memories are yours to keep.

Longing to hold us, a pain to ease.
You take upon yourselves not to cry.
Craving for the past to be freeze
But each breath whispers goodbye.

Powerless, your tears come any way.
You light a candle in good fate,
in hope we will meet again one day.
Our spirits aches your heavy weight.

Oh, how we wish to bear your pain,
To shoulder your anguish and fears
To shield you from this storm’s chain
and turn your tears and into cheers.

In your grief, there is a ruler at hand,
which murmurs in the darkest night,
God's vast love, does understand,
and our souls found his eternal light.

For the Man of Sorrows, bore it all,
He takes our wounds and shame,
He beared the sting of death, the heavy pall,
so to forgive and heal our broken frame.

Dear moms and dads this is where
the shadow suffering ends,
by seeing the break of dawn beyond the grave,
In God's embrace, your pain and sorrow mends,
And in His love, your weary hearts He'll save.

Though we can’t remove your anguish to relieve,
Or take the cup of sorrow from your lips,
we find our solace, in the truth we cleave,
That Jesus also holds you by His fingertips.

So when your tears fall like gentle rain,
trust in Him, who walked this path of grief,
For in His sovereignty, you can find again,
A hope that blooms an eternal belief

Know we rest, in arms divine and strong,
Your suffering exchanged for our endless peace,
In heaven's choir, we sing a joyous song,
And in God's love, your aching hearts can find
release.
